Blooms To Get Your Spring Creative On

Passover and Easter are just around the corner - Passover begins on April 15th and ends on April 23rd. Palm Sunday is April 10th and Easter is April 17th. Nothing says Spring like daffodils, hyacinths, lilies and tulips, but there are so many other flowers to choose from that will keep your creative juices flowing.

Chances are you'll be inundated with orders for plant baskets, centerpieces, hostess flowers and more. You can find your way to an abundance of Spring flowers that add texture and interest to each of your creations - and a little goes a long way. Specialty flowers such as hellebore, ranunculus, muscari, scabiosa, kangaroo paw, and sweet pea are perfect to add finesse to your designs.

Add angel vine, pussy willow stems, birds nests, faux eggs and spring vegetables like asparagus, mini artichokes and baby carrots, and you've got a recipe that will bring your customers back for more.

Here are some great flowers to try if your creative inspiration gets a little stuck:

Top row left to right: Andrea Cappuccino Ranunculus, Japanese Hydrangea, Sweet Pea. Middle row left to right: Feverfew, Muscari, Cloni Pon Pon Malva Ranunculus.

Bottom row left to right: Confetti Cake Hellebore, Mini Pearl Kangaroo Paw, Craspedia

"Is the Spring coming?" he said "What's it like?"

"It is the sun shining on the rain, and the rain falling on the sunshine."
